Thanks for checking out our awesome blog about all things locksmith related. We at Key 4 Less Locksmith receive hundreds of calls each week for people needing emergency locksmith services. The truth is, sometimes we hear some pretty interesting stories from our customers. There’s usually a reason why someone was in a rush, locked themselves out, lost their car keys, or need a house rekey. This time, we received a call from a customer who needed a broken key extracted from a storage locker.
The story goes like this:
Janet is a veterinarian technician. She loves her job. Unfortunately the animal hospital she was working at went bankrupt and she decided to look for another position at a different animal hospital. She looked all over Craigslist.org, Hotjobs.com, and Monster.com for available and desirable positions. After a month of searching, she found an excellent position at a veterinarian center in San Francisco, California. “WOW!” thought Janet, “I’m going to move from a small Minnesota town to the San Francisco, California, the Golden State!” So Janet packed her stuff and drove west.
Janet didn’t have a place to live just yet, and her new job started just two days after she arrives. Janet rented a storage space and put all of her stuff into storage. She stayed at an extended stay hotel in San Francisco. After a month, she decided she really liked her job and living in San Francisco. She found an apartment and decided to get her stuff out of storage and make a home for herself!
When she got to the storage place, she tried to open the heavy lock with the key, to her dismay and surprise; the key broke off in the lock! The rental place said she would have to call for a locksmith. She only had one day off work to get her stuff out of storage. She used Google to find the nearest locksmith in San Francisco. Key 4 Less was able to come to her within 30 minutes and remove (extract) the broken key. It was so fast! Janet was happy to be able to continue her moving in one day…now only if unpacking will be as fast!
